As a self-employed transfer pricing expert, I provide transfer pricing assistance to multinational companies in many areas. I have in-depth expertise of the many different aspects of transfer pricing and performed a significant number of projects for clients in various industries.

 

After more than 20 years of transfer pricing work, I am still very passionate about the work I do on a day-to-day basis. I really believe that I can provide value-adding solutions to multinational companies. That was the reason for me to set up this company.

 

I work both on an ad interim (i.e. a number of days per week) and on a project basis. My clients are larger and mid-sized multinational companies, but also audit and tax consultancy firms.

In the conversations I regularly have, I notice that more and more international companies have serious concerns about their transfer pricing compliance. This is partly a content issue: the internal tax departments are not always aware of the latest developments and are uncertain how they should meet their compliance requirements. Another matter is a resources issue: multinational companies do not always have sufficient or appropriate resources to deal with the more and more onerous and complex transfer pricing challenges the business currently faces.

 

My in-depth knowledge of the latest transfer pricing regulations and more than 20 years of experience allow me to provide extensive transfer pricing advice to international companies. This could consist of strategic advice, but also practical suggestions for the optimisation of a company’s transfer pricing compliance. I can also assist these companies to meet their documentation requirements in a cost-effective way. This could be achieved through an in-house solution, if desired, potentially also coupled with the support of a transfer pricing software solution.

Through my tax and economic background and the performance of more than 300-400 transfer pricing projects, I have gained very broad transfer pricing knowledge. I successfully completed transfer pricing projects for my clients in the following areas:

 

  1. design of transfer pricing systems;

  2. preparation of transfer pricing documentation, including Master file and Local Country files;

  3. preparation of benchmark studies;

  4. BEPS risk assessment, including C-b-C reporting dry runs;

  5. assistance with transfer pricing audits by tax authorities;

  6. preparation of transfer pricing defence files;

  7. provision of transfer pricing training sessions;

  8. advice on the implementation of transfer pricing systems (including design of processes and controls);

  9. advice on the preparation of an RFP and proposal review;

  10. training of internal audit departments.

Over the years it has become clear to me my clients expect in a transfer pricing project. First, I will discuss the specific needs they have. Based on these needs I will provide an assessment of the required work, and an estimate of the costs associated with that work. Upon approval of the scope and budget I will commence with the project. Then it comes down to executing the project with the appropriate quality standard, within the defined budget and the agreed timeline.

 

my clients like to work with me because they know I'm practical and always strive to reach a workable solution, keeping an eye on the bigger scheme of things. Tight project management allows me to deliver the final product(s) within the agreed budget and timing. During the project I communicate constantly with my clients so that they are always aware of the status of the project and can take decisions where needed. During the execution and completion phase, my work is enormously detailed and accurate, which is reflected in high-quality products.
